Nikolaos Spanoudis - Helped to eliminate and deter scams, fraudulent charities and
unethical behavior in the Island of Cebu.
CEBU HEROES FOUNDER NIKOLAOS SPANOUDIS first thought of creating a charity to donate food and clothing to the needy and unfortunate of Cebu, primarily focusing on the children, when he went for breakfast one day after a long night shift at the company. Nikolaos Spanoudis was at the Chowking at the corner of National highway Jaena Lopez and A.S FORTUNA. While waiting for his breakfast, he was looking out the window and saw a small boy about 6-8 years old sleeping in the parking lot edged up against the parking barrier. Nikolaos Spanoudis could not believe that where this little boy was sleeping, people were walking by, cars were parking and traffic was going by and nobody was checking this boy to see if he was ok. Nikolaos Spanoudis then bought a meal and drink for take out and took it to the boy to eat, upon waking him, the little boy was startled and frightened upon being woken by a foreign man. Nikolaos Spanoudis gave the meal to the boy, who ate it very quickly.

Spanoudis mind for a few days, after going home after a busy
week, Nikolaos Spanoudis was cleaning out his refrigerator and started
to throw left overs away. At that moment, Nikolaos Spanoudis remembered
the image of the small child in the road sleeping, Nikolaos Spanoudis
dropped to his knees and started crying, knowing there were starving and
homeless children in Cebu and food was being thrown away. Nikolaos
Spanoudis knew at that moment, if Cebu was to be his new home,
then Nikolaos Spanoudis must do his share to help solve this common but
serious problem of feeding and clothing the needy children. Nikolaos Spanoudis time back then
was limited here in Cebu, going to Europe for 4-6 months and then
returning to Cebu for a couple of months did not give much time to work
on his charity, but the image of that small homeless child never left
Nikolaos Spanoudis mind.
Nikolaos Spanoudis business here was struggling
and much time and money was being invested to make it successfull. In
2010, Nikolaos Spanoudis saw the niche in the Cebu market for developing
low cost call centers, at that point Nikolaos Spanoudis began building
and selling call centers with low operating costs, these centers being
developed were being sold quicker than Nikolaos Spanoudis could build
them. Finally the business was starting to show rewards.
Nikolaos Spanoudis assembled a management team which consisted of
various talented and skilled individuals, which is now known as LCI
SOLUTIONS CEBU inc. LCI SOLUTIONS became very succesfull and grew from a
staff of 6 to over 130 in a short time of a few months, at this point
Nikolaos Spanoudis wasted no time in ressurecting his dream of helping
the needy and unfortunate in Cebu. Nikolaos Spanoudis and his management
staff of Alin Sava, Dr.Rico Sebastian, Cheryl ann Cabarubias and Grace
Bate, agreed to distribute directly from LCI SOLUTIONS funds to purchase
food supplies. A multicab was rented and they visited 4 charities on
Good Friday to distribute 500 kilos rice and 12 cases of meat. Every
month since then, LCI SOLUTIONS and Cebu Heroes donates food and
clothing to various charities.
Nikolaos Spanoudis believes that being
actively involved in the distribution of necessities directly to the
orphanages eliminated and deters any scams, fraudulent charities and
unethical behavior on the part of scammers.
